Me: 5'10 Jen , Gen X single mom of a 16 yr old, former collegiate volleyball player, and lifelong competitor who brings heart, humor, and hustle into everything she does.
Work experience: I am an entrepreneur and have had several businesses including a fashion tech startup ( yes I even got picked to pitch to Uber ), owner of a walk in bathtub company and did the corporate gig for 15 years.
After 15 years as a tech recruiter for Fortune 100 companies and startups, I turned my interviewing superpower into a new form of storytelling: live content creation.
My Why: My daughter’s cancer survival started my passion for health, wellness, and authenticity — values that now drive both my life and her agency of which I named after my daughter, Savannah for The Savy Agency.
The Savy Agency was born from my greatest inspiration —
My 16-year-old daughter, Savannah.
A cancer survivor, fighter, and warrior, she embodies the strength, resilience, and light that this agency stands for.
I named The Savy Agency after her — a living tribute to courage, creativity, and the power of rebuilding life with purpose.
Every project, partnership, and piece of content we create is guided by that same spirit — the legacy I’m building for her and through her:
to remind others that even in the hardest seasons, we can rise, create, and leave something that lasts.
When: I started live hosting and content generation in the last year to practice being in front of the camera for my Podcast called “what do you do” for my recruiting agency. I had no idea what I was getting into, but funny story now looking back that a temp job turned into a career transition.
Why: I answered a Facebook ad for a livestream host and thought I was auditioning to be Kansas City’s next QVC star. So I studied and watched QVC non stop as after my interview I was on camera the next day with zero training.
What happened:Two weeks later I was watching the Today show and they did a segment with QVC talking about how live streaming is the new way to sell to consumers. I knew this was my sign to go all in and hit the ground floor before the Gold Rush is over and reinvent myself as a creator and recruiter.
So there it is and here i am ready to "make good trouble"
